Next Saturday The National Lottery's Buy One Get One Free ticket offer comes to Hereford for the game against Alfreton.
However whilst it was originally thought it would be easy to obtain a free ticket for a friend or someone who hasn't been recently this does not seem to be the case.
According to Hereford FC the offer is not available online or on the telephone.
It looks like the only ways to purchase a second ticket will be from the club shop today or Friday (10am to 4pm) or from the ticket office before the game on Saturday.
And if you are thinking of buying before the game the purchase must be done by 1.30pm.
Whilst the reasons why the club are restricting ways to purchase a free tickets have not been made public, it looks as though there must be quite a lot of work involved with this offer.
However given Hereford has a lot of supporters living outside the city the reward of buying a free ticket might not be worthwhile given the the cost of getting to Hereford especially with the price of fuel and time involved.
As one supporter suggested is the chance to welcome casual supporters being taken as much as it could be?
