Ismail Joins Welsh League Newtown

 

Former Hereford FC winger Zeli Ismail has joined Newtown who play in the Welsh League.

He is manager Chris Hughes' second signing of the January window following the arrival of defender Ryan Sears from Grimsby Town. 

After leaving Hereford Ismail had a trial with York City but nothing was agreed.

Newtown are in 'Europe' this season.

The new competition is called the UEFA EUROPA CONFERENCE LEAGUE and it is a competition that has been created to give more players the chance to experience European football and also give clubs an additional chance to win a European trophy.
