HUST Members Vote Result

HUST members have failed to vote in sufficient numbers to try to change the name of Hereford FC to Hereford United.

The result of the name change vote was as follows:

183 votes cast

Hereford FC - 106 (59.6%)

Hereford United - 74 (40.4%)

A vote of 75% was required for HUST to pursue the idea.

HUST chairman Richard Tomkins has commented:

"On behalf of the HUST Board I would like to thank members for their participation in this process. Under the rules agreed at an earlier stage, the threshold has not been reached. Consequently, the HUST Board will not be taking the case to a full club shareholders’ meeting on this occasion."
