Tom Owen-Evans scored two of Hereford's three goal in their win over Kettering. Afterwards he spoke to the local media.
"Obviously we wanted the winning run going, at home as well, and we wanted to score a few goals," said Owen-Evans.
"We kept a lot of clean sheets recently and we've ground out 1-0 results but it was nice to get three goals tonight with no goals conceeded."
The game was put to bed early in the second half.
"We looked at the stats and we had seen that Ketering score a lot of goals straight after half-time so we needed to start the second half quickly.
"We played here and I think they scored two straight after half time so we knew we needly to start quickly and we did that and we scored two and put the game to bed.
"It was quite a tough game. Fo me in particular the first half and second half were quite different. The first half was quite scrappy, it's hard, you see the hill, you might not see it from the stand, but it does make a difference. Shooting up the hill with the wind is quite hard for us to get out at times.
"They had good deliveries into the box and they caused problems with set pieces but the back four and Brandon and the midfield coped with that brilliantly tonight and they gave us the platform for the attackers to go and win the game."
Owen-Evans's first goal came from a free kick after Jaanai Gordon had been hacked down.
"I meant to drive it to Haines and I over toed it and the keeper, I not really sure what happened, I don't think he saw it coming and then he saw it late and it bounced in.
"I don't think it was indirect just a normal free kick. I'll take that.
"I needed a bit of luck recently, I had one disallowed last Saturday, I've not really scored as many as I would have liked this year. Hopefully that little bit of luck got me into the game and then I got another one. Should have had three, maybe four. Hopefully I can kick on now and keep scoring goals.
"We're not conceeding goals at all now. We were playing good football at the start of the season and we would be on top and then conceed a goal and that kills your momentum a bit.
"To be able to have trust in your back four and Brandon as well who has been absolutely amazing, it gives us the freedom to come out and score goals."
Asked how far you can go as a squad, Owen -Evans said he didn't think there were any limits.
"The last five games we've scored nine and not conceeded a goal. We were second bottom a month ago and I think we're level on points for the play-offs now so we've played pretty much everyone in the league, obviously there's been games we haven't played well in but I think we've matched everyone.
"There's no one to fear and for me there's no limits, we want to go as far as we can."
