Hereford striker Miles Storey is expected to miss several games after a nasty head clash this afternoon at Guiesley.
It happened in the first half and the game was stopped for around eight minutes whilst he received attention on the pitch.
He received further attention in the players medical centre before being transferred to hospital.
"A clash of heads, he's got a big welt on the side of his head," said Hereford manager Josh Gowling.
"He was very dazed and I think he was unconscious for a period."
Later the club said he is feeling better and hoped he might be released later this evening.
