Hereford players George Forsyth and Harry Pinchard joined BBC H&W's Keith Hall in the commentary box at Edgar Street yesterday afternoon and after the final whistle they both spoke about Hereford's 1-0 win over Chorley, their first home win of the season in the league.
First Forsyth.
"Completely deserved it, we've said it all season there's been times in the season where we've deserved that on numberous occasions. It was always going to happen. It will install that bit of belief.
"As a group we've never lost that belief, we always knew it would come.
"As the season wares on you sometimes feel when is it going to come but today its come to fruition. We needed that badly.
"And in the end it was a moment of brilliance by Tom Owen-Evans. Great ball through, Storey with a brilliant finish.
"I'm delighted for the lads and I'm delighted for the fans as well. They've been brilliant. 1700 unbelievable support.
"Long may it continue, we've got to put two together."
Secondly Pinchard.
"We needed that. We've always had belief.
"After that now especially at home, we got the win at York, but at home you can see how happy everyone is and we've just got to kick off now.
"We've got a good enough squad to do so."
Hall felt there should have been been more goals for Hereford in the game.
"That will come," added Forsyth.
"It's a case of that will come with confidence.
"Storey has put the ball in the net and hopefully that's a little bit of weight off our backs now. That demon has gone now, the home form.
"Now we'll kick on and hope the goals will come."
