Hereford defender Mitch Hancox is going to York City on loan for an initial one month.
York have been without a recognised left back for much of the season.
Scott Barrow who would be thought of as first choice has yet to play because of injury whilst loanee Jayen Charles returned to Mansfield last month and is now on loan at Hereford.
Hancox was with Solihull Moors last season and joined the Bulls in June.
"Mitch is a very dynamic player, attacking and exciting to watch," said manager Josh Gowling at the time
"His main position is left-back but he can play anywhere down the left-hand side."
However Hancox has failed to feature regularily for the Bulls and last Saturday Gowling moved captain Jared Hodgkiss from right back to left back. Patrick Fini played at right back.
