The Hereford Times is reporting that there have been talks between the managers of Hereford and Westfields about closer ties between the two clubs.
In particular Hereford manager Josh Gowling would like players from his squad to be able to play for Westfields when not getting enough minutes or recovering from injury.
"I want to build a relationship with Westfields at the football club," said Gowling.
"I think it's important that we build back relationships and I've had a good chat with Westfields.
"There has been a broken relationship between the clubs but that wasn't me and I get on with the manager there.
"Some of the lads that are in our first team but not getting minutes, it's a good level to play at to get those minutes and be ready when we need them."
Westfields manager Phil Glover agrees that closer co-operation would be benificial.
"For some reason over the years the committees of both clubs have not seen eye to eye and haven't got on," said Glover.
"That's nothing to do with the current clubs. When I first came in I had a conversation with Josh (Gowling) and this is a step in the right direction."
