During this afternoon's BBC Hereford and Worcester's Sport On Saturday, Keith Hall spoke to Trevor Owens about the Covid situation at Edgar Street which meant that today's game at York had to be postponed.
Owens suggested that it was almost inevitable that one of our clubs would be clattered because of covid.
"The players were all at Edgar Street training (on Thursday) with a press call day and they were doing their analysis on York's strengths and weaknesses," said Hall.
"They are in there within an enclosed space for a good half an hour so in excess of the ten minutes that you are within two metres of someone.
"The whole squad can be affected whoever gets a positive result.
"I think they are waiting for a PCR test, I think it might have been a lateral flow test that was positive, I'm not completely sure of what the outcome is.
"Then you have to wait for the results of that and then everybody else who is impacted will have to follow suit and make sure they are all clear.
"We have to live with Covid these days and that's one of the things that will happen somewhere along the line."
Next Saturday Hereford are set to play in the FA Cup and they won't want to miss that game.
"I think there is a little bit of dispensation for a few days but not long so if it means they have to travel maybe on a Tuesday or Wednesday night to get the fixture over and done with that's what will happen.
"Fingers crossed thing move quite rapidly. It's a big important game for Hereford because they need to get a kick-start from somewhere and maybe it's the FA Cup that will do it."
