Pearce Unable To Play For Hereford Today

New signing Krystian Pearce, who has been given the number 5 shirt, was unable to play for Hereford against Spennymoor this afternoon.

After the game assistant manager Steve Burr explained why.

"I'm not sure actually why he couldn't play," said Burr.

"Some administration error with it, may be not an administration error, there is some problem with Krystian at the moment.

"We're speaking to the FA and the PFA about it.

"We had geared for him playing today and then we were told on Friday that he wasn't allowed to play.

"It's out of our hands a little bit, hopefully he'll be available for the next game.

"It's really very disappointing.

"We lost Jamie Grimes in the summer and we've just not replaced that hole yet."

BN understands that Pearce signed an 18 month deal at Boreham Wood last January after he was released by Solihull.

Then in June Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard placed Pearce on the transfer list 'for location reasons'.

Is it therefore a possibilty that Pearce has not actually been released by Borewood and could still be under contract with them?
