Zeli Ismail has left Edgar Street after failing to agree a deal with Hereford. He wasn't on the team sheet at Lymington last Saturday and confirmation tonight from manager Josh Gowling that he's left.
"Zeli is not here any more," said Gowling.
"We made Zeli an offer. We work within parametres and the offer was not enough for him.
"We couldn't offer him any more so he's moved on.
"It's unfortunate but it is what it is.
"We've got an ambunance of attacking players, something we didn't have last year so look at the end of the day we want people who want to be here.
"Financially he's got to do what's right for him and if it's not right for him that's fine.
"The club doesn't stop because we don't get one player in, we just carry on moving forward.
"You've seen the talent we've got tonight scoring four goals and the talent we've got coming off the bench.
"It's a loss but we've got players who can come in and fill those shoes."
