Swindon FC have supported the Adam Stansfield Foundation by donating a signed shirt to the charity for auction.
Goalkeeping coach Steve Mildenhall gave the shirt to Tom Vickery who along with his brother Jack auction signed shirts and other memorabilia for the chairty.
“The support from clubs/players/coaches/kit managers has been incredible which has resulted in us going over the £120,000 mark,” Tom said as reported by This is Wiltshire.
“The foundation raises awareness of bowel cancer and also provides grassroots football equipment to keep clubs going – kits, goals, bibs, balls etc.”
The shirt auction raised £125.
The Adam Stansfield Foundation was set up after Stansfield, who played for Hereford, Yeovil and Exeter, died from bowel cancer in 2010.
