Striker Dan Smith has joined Hereford on loan from Eastleigh. Initially the deal is unto January.
Eastleigh manager Ben Strevens has commented:
“Dan is another of our lads who needs to get some regular minutes under his belt and this is a great opportunity for him to go out and do just that. We’ll be keeping our eye on his progress with a view to him returning in January after his loan period.”
Hereford manager Josh Gowling will be pleased to have brought in a striker.
"I really like how he presses high up the pitch and fits into how we want to play. When he gets up and running, I think he can really get some goals for us."
Smith, who will be 22 next week, started his career as a youngster at Portsmouth.
He has had spells on loan at Bognor Regis and also Cork City.
In Summer 2019 he joined Bognor, where he scored over 20 goals, and then moved to Eastleigh in July 2020.
However he only made 11 appearances for Eastleigh last season.
"I just want to play and get back to scoring really," he said after signing for Hereford.
