Another signing has been announced this morning at Edgar Street.
Midfielder James Vincent has joined Hereford for the forthcoming season. His deal brings the number of players in the squad up to 13.
'Great to be on board & can’t wait to get going,' said Vincent.
Vincent is a 31 year old midfielder who joined Stockport County when just eight years old.
As a senior he featured for them from 2008 to 2011 before moving to Kidderminster in advance of the 2011/12 season.
Following two years with the Harriers, Vincent moved to Scotland and spells with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Dundee and Dumfermline before a return to Inverness in June 2019.
Hereford manager Josh Gowling has been looking for an experienced midfielder and will hope Vincent fits the bill.
"He will get on the ball in any area and he will bring that extra experience in the middle of the park that we lacked at times last year," said Gowling.
Whilst with Kidderminster Vincent played at Edgar Street.
"It’s such a good stadium, when I’ve played it’s been packed out and it’s such a good atmosphere."
Vincent first played against Hereford whilst with Stockport. He came on as a sub in County's 4-1 win over Hereford in January 2009.
He was also in Kidderminster's starting XI at Edgar Street on Boxing Day in 2012.
'Hereford looked nervous in the sticky conditions and were nearly made to pay for indecisive defending; a cross from the left wasn't cleared, causing panic in the Bulls' back-line with Joe Heath giving the ball away creating the opportunity for James Vincent to fire over from inside the area.'
