Hereford players will not be going on a pre-season camp this time around says manager Josh Gowling. Two seasons ago players spent several days in the South West with two friendlies played at Bideford.
Gowling said he would have liked to but finances were not available.
"Funds being what they are unfortunately we're not able to do that," said Gowling.
"It would have been nice to do that.
"Last year we had an eight week pre-season, this year it's only five weeks so it's a bit more condensed.
"Also we've only had five weeks off.
"Pre-season won't be as hard as last pre-season, the lads are working hard, they are doing double sessions and they will be ready when the season starts."
