Hereford are through to the quarter finals of the FA Trophy after beating fellow National League North club Leamington 1-0.
A fifth minute Chris Camwell free-kick was all it took to separate the sides as the Bulls once again showed their defensive qualities to nullify the Brakes.
Josh Gowling's side have not conceded a goal in this season's competition and are now just two games away from Wembley.
New signing Jody Butlin went straight into Hereford's starting line-up while Kennedy Digie returned from injury. Both put in strong shifts, with Digie earning the sponsors' man-of-the-match. However there was no place in the squad for Callum Rowe, who is on loan from Aston Villa.
Hereford started strongly and were awarded an early free-kick when Butlin was fouled. Camwell made no mistake with the set piece, sending a delightful effort over the wall and into the top corner of the net.
The Bulls had a further chance to increase their lead just four minutes later. However, Kyle Finn's shot was saved by Jake Weaver in the Leamington goal.
The game then died down with very little attacking threat from either side. It wasn't until the 28th minute until there was a meaningful chance at goal; Brandon Hall doing well to save a Jack Edwards shot following a free kick.
At the other end, Ben Pollock had a header saved four minutes before half time.
Leamington made a double change for the start of the second half as the Brakes attempted to get back into the game.
However, it was Hereford had the first chance of the half when Owen-Evans shot just wide in the 50th minute.
Both sides then had further chances, with Camwell flicking an effort wide.
By this stage, Leamington had brought on a third substitute, but Hereford remained solid at the back. The away wide were poor in the final third and their afternoon was summed up when former Bulls midfielder Simeon Maye blazed an effort well wide five minutes from time. Hall then thwarted Callum Gittings with a smart save four minutes later but apart from that effort, Leamington failed to produce any other opportunities and Hereford held on to claim another impressive win.
Overall, the Bulls deserved the win and were solid throughout, with Digie and Grimes excellent at the back. New recruit Butlin also worked hard throughout and it was a workman-performance by the home side. With clear-cut chances at a premium, it was left to Camwell to produce another moment of magic and win the tie for Hereford.
