Two quick goals by Owen-Evans sees Hereford in command

Two quick goals by Tom Owen-Evans has seen Hereford go into the half-time break 2-0 to the good at Blyth Spartans.

The Bulls playmaker opened the scoring in the 33rd minute after getting on the end of Dan Jones' quick corner before curling in his second just two minutes later.

And he almost sealed a remarkable first half hat-trick just before the break, but his effort hit the side netting.

Hereford also had a goal disallowed when Kelsey Mooney was ruled offside, while Blyth have also had chances themselves in an entertaining opening 45 minutes.
