The BBC's Dan Roan has reported that it looks like the National League is poised to say that the new season will commence on October 3 as planned.
He added that that, if this is the case, it could mean that the league is confident that some kind of emergency funding will be forthcoming but 'could mean discord between it and the two regional divisions below'.
As reported here, 81% of clubs in National League North don't want the season to start without fans or some sort of emergency funding.
