As part of preparation for the new season at Hereford FC, the First Aid provision for match days is undergoing restructuring and the volunteers have decided to reluctantly step down.
One of the volunteers updated BN:
After
Volunteering as First Aid cover for the last 5 seasons it is with
extreme regret that our great little team will no longer be manning the
post in its volunteer format.
Over the last 5
Seasons the team have covered 143 competitive matches, 9 Preseason
Friendlies And 2 Testimonials. Over 13,800 minutes of football plus 380
hours before and after the matches ensuring safety before and after the
games. An approximate saving of £24,500 in paying for consumerate cover
for the club.
Some absolutely magical moments.

The list goes on...
Unfortunately
it wasn't always fun and games and we had our share of 'customers' and
missed many a half of the match helping treat our fellow supporters and
players from both teams.
The team would like to
thank the club and supporters for the support and assistance they have
received over the past five seasons.
Volunteer team included Jamie Howard, Andy Innes, Mollie Spink and Lucy Morgan.
