Darlington Hope To Launch Quakers TV

Darlington are hoping to launch Quakers TV.

'The club recognises that some people will be nervous about attending home games because of COVID, even though we will be taking all the precautions required of us by the authorities. There is also the possibility that we may have to play games behind closed doors, although the National League is opposed to this at the moment.'

So they have ordered equipment to allow them to stream all their home matches.

Darlington must be confident that the National League will allow live streaming although there is no mention of this in their article. Currently BT have the media rights and have announced they will broadcast a number of games from the National Premier League.

Hereford live streamed their recent friendly against Newport. It was deemed a success by the club although no figures were released about how many supporters watched the game which cost £5.99.

The general opinion of those that did watch was that the production was very good. The pictures were merged with Radio Hereford FC commentary.

Hereford manager Josh Gowling has welcomed the idea.

"Be great for the fans that will still be isolating at home to be able to be apart of the new season."
