Work To Create Safe Environment Costs Money

Ongoing work at Edgar Street to create a safe environment is costing the club a lot of money and chairman Andrew Graham has once again asked supporters to help fund this work.

The work is required because of Covid-19 regulations.

"Some of this work, created by the Covid-19 Pandemic, is thankless but I have only praise for the HFC Team, behind the scenes, who are all pulling together to make this happen," said chairman Andrew Graham.

"None of this, however, comes without additional costs to the Club.  On behalf of everyone at the Club, I would like to thank all those who have contributed so far to the Boost The Budget #InThisTogether Campaign which is giving us additional income at this crucial time. This is an ongoing Campaign so please donate if you can.”

Meanwhile the club have reported that sales of replica shirts are up '25% since their release at the end of June 2020, than this time last year.'

"We are delighted with the response the new shirts have had since we put them on sale," said general manager James Watts.

"The sales through our website and Sporting Touch have been impressive and we expect to sell a lot more once crowds are allowed at Edgar Street and the football season is underway."
