September 5th National North Restart Date?

Telford chairman Andy Pryce thinks that September 5th could be the date the National North League restarts.

But he warns that stadiums may only be allowed to be 30% full which, if correct, would mean a capacity of about 1400 at Edgar Street.

“Lots of rumours, I’ve spoken to a couple of managers from the National League North and we’re hearing September 5,” said Pryce as reported by the Shropshire Star.

“That’s what we’re hearing, whether it is or isn’t we don’t know. We’re also hearing it will be with 30 per cent of your capacity. But that is unofficial.

“We’re just ready and waiting to get back, as soon as we’re given the nod.

“I don’t think we’ll hear anything until August 1, which will be after the play-offs. But we’re getting prepared to start on September 5.”
