Mike Symons Scored For Hereford When The Teams Met Last August |
Ahead of tomorrow's FA Trophy tie against Hereford, here is a preview from Kings Lynn FC.
On Saturday The Linnets take a break from National
League North duties as they enter the FA Trophy trail for the first time
this season when Hereford visit The Walks for a third qualifying round
fixture ( 3pm). After another run of away day Saturday’s this weekend
is the first of three consecutive Walks Saturday afternoon’s for home
fans to enjoy their teams recent good run of form.
Whilst
Town moved into top spot in the table with last weekend’s 2 – 1
Southport success Hereford were on the receiving end of a 5 – 1 reverse
at Altrincham , a result that left many people’s pre-season promotion
favourites in 13th place in the league standings. Consistency appears to
be the Bulls problem to date but with the pressure of accumulating
league points off for the day they should be able to play with the
freedom that they haven’t been able to over the previous weeks and will
provide the Linnets with a tough examination of their trophy
credentials.
Lynn will again
be without Ryan Fryatt and Chris Smith but are able to welcome
Michael Gash back into the squad following his suspension last weekend.
The winners of Saturday’s match will receive £3,750 in prize money with the losers collecting £1,250.
If the tie ends all square the replay will be at Edgar Street on Tuesday 26th November.
