Hereford FC Under 18's are growing in confidence after another victory last night.
The Young Bulls dominated much of their FA Youth Cup tie against Evesham particularily in the second half.
The home team started brightly and tested keeper several times before Hereford started to take control.
After 22 minutes Hereford took the lead. A cross from the right found Shaun Yallard and he struck the ball past the Evesham stopper.
15 minutes later it was 2-0.
Captain Rob Whitlock hoisted a free kick towards goal and unfortunately the Evesham keeper palmed it into the net.
Both sides came out competing well after the break but on 57 minutes Hereford went further ahead.
Archie Muirhead controlled the ball just outside the penalty and as the keeper came towards him slotted the ball into the back of the net.
A fourth Hereford goal came eight minutes later when Muirhead kept off a defender to score his second of the game.
Credit to both teams who did their best in difficult conditions.
The young Bulls will travel to AFC Stoneham, which is in Hampshire, in the next round.
The game is set to be played in the week commencing October 14th.
Meanwhile it was revealed after the game that several of the youngsters had been training with the first team squad and that two or three were set to sign papers that would allow them to play in the senior side.
