It might not be the FA Cup but Hereford can still get some silverware in the trophy cabinet this season should they win the HFA County Cup.
Their first game is this competition is at Hinton on Wednesday evening. The game will allow manager Russell Slade a chance to give a few younger players and some who need game time some minutes.
"I'm going to sit down and have a look at who needs some minutes, we'll go through that," said Slade in his post Bradford interview.
"And look at some of our younger players as well.
"It's an opportunity for either a young lad or somebody I've not seen as much of to have a look at."
Slade also spoke about injuries.
"Jordan Liburd, he's twecked it right at the top of his leg so he's a little bit sore so he might need a little bit of time to recover.
"Nicholson I think that was fatigue more than anything. He's very sore, he's had a little bit of a sore groin so he will need a little bit of a break.
"I don't think he'll be playing on Wednesday."
