Tim Harris will return to Tamworth on Saturday and he says he's looking forward to it.
Hereford FC's head of football spent a short spell with the Lambs working with Mike Fowler earlier last season.
“But I have to say, I quickly learned Tamworth is a fantastic football club. I felt really at home there – it was only the geographical location that was a struggle for me.
“There’s a great fan base there, very passionate supporters. I know some of the players well. Jas Singh was my keeper at Gloucester for two or three years and he’s a great character.
“And you have people like Buster (Belford) and Degsy (Bond) - every football club needs those kind of characters.
"So I am really looking forward to going back and seeing some familiar faces.”
As regards the game itself Harris knows the FA Cup 'can throw up shocks'.
“We saw in the last round with the likes of Kettering losing to Sutton and Telford to Nantwich plus Chester and Kidderminster have gone out.
“So we have to make sure we go to Tamworth and show what we are about. It won’t be easy and we certainly won’t underestimate them but we have to go there with intent. We are doing OK at the moment. We are turning things around slowly.
“Russell has come in as manager and he’s getting to grips with it and we are starting to get results.
“Hopefully we can come through this tricky test.”
