Hereford have signed midfielder Ben Pollock following a successful trial period.
The 21-year-old is the son of Jamie Pollock, who played in the Premier League for Manchester City, Middlesbrough and Bolton.
Pollock - who is a former Newcastle United youngster and whose brother, Mattie plays for Grimsby Town - has been on trial at Hereford for the past month and featured in the recent behind-closed-doors friendly.
He signed a professional contract with Hartlepool three years ago and made his debut in a 1-0 defeat to Sunderland in the EFL Trophy.
Pollock later played for Dunston UTS before signing for Northern League Division Two outfit Billingham Synthonia in July 2018.

Speaking to Hereford's official website, Manager Russell Slade said: "Ben is an intelligent, deep-lying midfielder who keeps the ball moving.
"He’s a continuity player who can be that link between the back-four and those players further forward, I’m sure he will do well for us.
“He’s impressed me during his short trial period, he’s fitted in well with the lads and he is someone who will add something to the squad that we haven’t really got at the moment.”
Pollock is available for selection for tomorrow's FA Cup Third Qualifying Round match at Tamworth.
