INDEPENDENT CHAIR’S REPORT AND ELECTION RESULTS12th September 2019
It was an honour to be asked to be the Chair of the Election Management Group and the Independent Scrutineer for the Hereford Supporters’ Trust Board Elections 2019 and it has again been an interesting experience.
Six vacancies were declared but only five nominations were received.
All the nominations were validated and therefore, as the Independent Scrutiniser, and in line with rule 8.3. of the Election Rules, I declare the following five nominees appointed subject to an affirmative vote at the HUST AGM:
Nigel Edmondson
Jamie Howard
Richard Howard
Peter Sell
Michael Sessarego
As part of my role I am required to report whether the current Society Election Rules Regulations and Procedures and the Society Constitution were adhered to. I am satisfied they were though two situations encountered have prompted the EMG to recommend small changes to the Election Policy which we will pass to the Trust Board for consideration.
