Hereford Will Want Reaction After Bad Result Said Gateshead Manager

Gateshead are the opponents at Edgar Street on Tuesday evening and their manager, Mike Williamson, feels that there could be a reaction from Hereford following their 3-0 defeat at Guiseley yesterday.

"It's going to be a tough game," said Williamson.

"They've got very good players and they've been on the end of a bad result (yesterday).

"It's going to make them more dangerous because they are going to want a reaction."

Gateshead defeated Boston 3-0 yesterday.

As regards Hereford, manager Russell Slade hinted at changes on Tuesday.

"It might mean we look at other opportunities for players to come in, get the bit between the teeth and deliver the performance that we need."

Meanwhile Slade has suggested that with the budget he has, he could bring a couple of players in.

"We've got a competitive budget for this league, that's for sure.

"And although money doesn't buy you everything, it gives you a chance of maybe getting one or two players that are above the level.

"And if we are to bring anybody in on loan or permanently, we'll try to get somebody, rather than the level, a little bit better so they can improve us."
