Bristol City Women have appointed a former Hereford United keeper as their new head of goalkeeping Tony Elliot arrives from Birmingham after being approached by Bristol City.
“First of all it’s great to be here. It was an honour and privilege to be approached," said Elliot
"I made a decision to leave my role at Birmingham, there was awareness of my situation from Bristol City then Tanya and I had a conversation where she sold me her project and it was a no brainer for me to come and join the team."
Elliot made 75 appearances for Hereford between 1989 and 1992.
He returned to Edgar Street in April 2017 as a guest, and was interviewed by Matt Healey.
