According to a Twitter poll run by Bulls News, a lot of fans want Pete Beadle to return as Hereford manager.
Out of 1,109 votes cast, 66% said they would have him back, while 34% said they would not.
As we announced yesterday, according to the Non-League Paper, Beadle has apparently applied for the vacant manager's job. We are awaiting a response from Beadle after contacting him.
The NLP have said that Beadle believes he has 'unfinished business' at Hereford and wants to make an emotional return to Edgar Street. And it looks like many fans are in his corner.
Hell Yes - Unfinished business.— Squinny (@Squinny4) August 28, 2019
We’re in no different a situation now than when he was removed so we can claim a Gap Year and continue with business as usual
However, some supporters believe there are better candidates out there.Didn't get given a proper budget or chance last time...— Dale Humphries (@dezzle007) August 28, 2019
The board have stated they are looking for a manager / head coach with provable experience of thi league or, preferably, higher. This rules Beadle out.— Stephen Alexander 🌹 #GTTO (@Alexander_S_R) August 28, 2019
Beadle had a win ratio of 78% win ratio at Hereford, although one could argue that a lot of his victories came in the lower leagues. Nevertheless, he still got the club promoted three years in a row and took them to a Wembley final. Prior to that, he kept the Bulls up in the Conference after taking over eight games remaining before the club were thrown out after Tommy Agmobar took over as owner.Anyone saying yes hasn’t seen Beadle’s style of play. Yes he got us promotions but only got us promotinos with a budget not by being tactically great. Get rid of Harris and get a name that can attract a decent football along with players who can excite fans— Coreyy (@coreytyler1234) August 28, 2019
On the flip side, some supporters felt that Beadle's recruitment at the start of last season was poor and he was not the person to take the club forward, therefore justifying his sacking.
It is understood that Beadle agreed an out of court settlement with the club earlier this summer following his dismissal.
