Kabongo Tshimanga - who some fans thought may have been on trial at Hereford - has signed for National League side Boreham Wood following a prolific spell in National League South.
The Congolese hitman scored 24 goals in 42 games for Oxford City last season, including a hat-trick against Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup.
Bulls fans had questioned whether Tshimanga was pictured during pre-season training for the club at the weekend.
