Keiran Thomas And Marc Richards Talking To Young Fans After Today's Game |
Hereford's Keiran Thomas spoke to BN after this afternoon's 2-2 draw with title chasing Stockport.
"First half was very difficult for us," said Thomas.
"We were chasing shadows really.
"Second half was a lot different. We got in their faces, extra man in midfield, we got on the ball, we made a big difference."
Stockport appeared to be content to sit back in the second half?
"It felt like they thought they had won the game. They gave us a bit more respect second half and we took advantage of that."
Thomas started in mid-field but was moved to right back after half-time.
"Rico said the left wing was causing us a few problems in the first half so he said to me can you do a job at right back. Luckily I did so it was good."
Rowan Liburd started for the Bulls and scored their two goals.
"Rowan did a brilliant job for us, he's big, he's strong, he's quick. He's what we have been missing from the start of the season."
How pleased is Thomas with his game this season?
"I'm really pleased, I think it's been a good season, my first season and I'm loving it here. Everyone is brilliant, the fans are brilliant. I think I've done well this year and I've enjoyed it."
Which position do you prefer?
"I'm easy, I'll play where ever. I'll give 100% where ever I play."
You've topped the yellow card table?
"A few soft ones! It's not part of my game but I like to put a tackle in. I like to work hard."
And your future?
"I'm signed for next season so hopefully we'll start the season strong and kick on."
