Finn Plays 120 Minutes For Hartpury In Championship Final Defeat

Hereford winger Kyle Finn played 120 minutes for Hartpury College last night in an agonising defeat to miss out on the chance to be British Champions

The University of South Wales (USW) grabbed a goal with the final kick of extra time to deny Hartpury College the chance to win the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Championship.

Hartpury had a goal disallowed for a foul on the goalkeeper minutes before USW grabbed the winner deep into extra time.

Finn didn't start for Hereford on Tuesday night against Brackley but played the entire game in Nottingham last night for Hartpury where he recently moved.

Finn had a good game and caused USW problems with spirited runs down the flank, according to Bryn Goodall for ExpoSport.

Kyle Finn looked very sharp playing in an attacking role with a lot of freedom for Hartpury. He was popping up in an array of different areas dictating the tempo and looking lively.

For large parts of the game, it looked as though if Hartpury were going to make an impact in the game it was going to be through Finn with the youngster cutting in from both wings and testing the keeper on a few occasions.

Finn moved into a more creative role as the game moved on and Hartpurys players piled forward. He had less of an influence as a result.

Finn played alongside team mate Harry Franklin, who's currently dual-registered with Redditch United. Former Bulls Adam Page and Harvey Rivers also featured for the Gloucestershire side.
