York FC who play Hereford next Tuesday have beefed up their defence.
Centre-back David Mirfin has joined the club on loan from Mansfield for the rest of the season. He has made over 450 appearances in the Football League for various clubs.
It's also been reported that defender Ryan Cresswell has been training with the club.
Last week defender Tom Bradbury joined on loan from Dundee.
York have slipped down the table and are now 19th, one place below Hereford.
A new management team of Steve Watson and assistant Micky Cummins was recently put in place by the club.
