Hereford were knocked out of the HFA Women's County Cup this afternoon as they were beaten 4-1 by Lads Club.
The Whites were 4-0 down with minutes left to play, but Roxana Dinescu pulled a goal back right at the death.
Coach Scott Russell said the first round game was always going to be tough to get back into after going 3-0 down after 15 minutes.
Sadly for my Womens team, giving the opposition a 3-0 lead after 15 minutes is always going to be hard to come back from," Russell said on Twitter.
"Well done to Lads Club Ladies in today's Herefordshire FA Cup match. Fully deserved 4-1 win, couple of great goals scored. Good luck in the next round."
Hereford return to Midwest Counties League action next Sunday as they travel to Droitwich Spa Belles, kick off is at 2pm.
