Head Coach Marc Richards said Hereford hit the self-destruct button as they fell to a 3-1 defeat at home to FC United of Manchester.
Since being in charge, Richards has guided Hereford to four points from 24, compared to the 11 picked up when Pete Beadle was in charge.
Richards also confirmed that Matt Yates and Ethan Wassall have had their loans from Derby County extended until January, and there's no indication that Martin Horsell is going to leave the club after he joined Cirencester on dual-registration.
