Hereford's new signing James Wesolowski wasn't part of today's FA Trophy win against FC United of Manchester as he was suffering with a tight hamstring after training on Thursday.
Head Coach Marc Richards said that midfielder Wesolowski should be in contention for next Saturday's home game after training with the side this morning.
"It's just precautionary really, he trained with us on Thursday, got through the session but he was feeling a really tight hamstring towards the end," Richards said.
"He trained again this morning and we didn't want to risk him.
"Fingers crossed he'll be in contention for the Alfreton game next Saturday."
Wesolowski's signing was announced on Friday and had most recently been playing in the National League North for Nuneaton Borough.
