From The Archive - Share Issue Deadline

Something slightly different for this 'archive' article with a look back at the first page of a thread from the Bulls Banter forum entitled 'Share Issue Deadline' which was about buying shares in Hereford FC.

From reading the information on bulls news :http://bullsnews.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/share-issue-deadline-for-information.html

It seems like if anyone other than hust or the investors want to buy any shares, they need to ask about it before friday 5pm (tomorrow).....

Is it me or is that odd... so its a buy shares now or never???

so what happens to the shares that arent sold to fans?

That said, the fans who want to buy any shares have basically until posting time tonight is finished, because they only accept letter requests....

Also "No other dialogue can be entered into in connection with this matter." is a bit blunt and concerning,
can someone explain this to me....

something's not quite right,

there's been so little information,

makes you wonder, do they want anyone else on board.

bullsized
um. no. no-one wants to talk about it. that's precisely the point.

muno
I would suggest that the club cannot advise on an investment as they are not legally allowed to do so.

southwestbull
who, them or us

southwestbull
nobodies asking for advise,

just want details,

bullsized
'they' don't want to talk about it.
'we' don't know anything. so we can't talk about it even if we want to.

jamesw
just because you couldnt care less bullsized, doesnt mean everyone else feels the same.
stop trolling and leave the people who want to talk about it to do so. thanks

Inspector Clouseau
They were posted on the OS and BN if I remember correctly.

Pretty confident in saying that you cannot advertise shares in a private limited company.

bullsized
i'd be happy to talk about it. it's important. but HFC have made it clear they cannot/will not discuss it.

you need to apply as per the process they have outlined and hope you get sold some shares and beyond that there is not much to discuss as far as i can see....?

jamesw
well the questions i raised...
is this the last chance to buy them?
what happens if they arent bought now?
I havnt seen any other information on it (other than a previous post on BN which basically said the same thing).

bullsized
yes they are good questions

jamesw
so how do we find the answers out?
is this a "buy now or never" option on the shares?
do they not even want to give us all the details?

generally if i am going to spend £1000 on something, i want to know all the details before hand...

if anything this is going to put people off buying, maybe thats what they want...

Bouncebackabull
This is just to buy shares in your own name isn't it?

HUST have negotiated 3 years to be able to get their holding up to 50% of the shares. Maybe its just to force people who have not been proactive to invest via HUST.

At least the club have publicised this a couple of times, the silence from HUST on raising funds to buy shares is pretty deafening. I'd have though that HUST have a great chance while we are in the honeymoon period for the new club to build a sizeable holding.

bullsized
all in hand. plenty going on behind the scenes:

HUST Matters
The 3rd HUST Director position was discussed. Given the job description and the community role it needed a football person, perhaps an ex player to fulfil the duties professionally. This would be discussed again at the June meeting to see if a suitable candidate could be found.
The HUST Fundraising paper had been agreed and would be submitted to the HFC Board. This was the plan to show HFC how monies would be raised over the next 3 years to purchase shares in HFC.
A Funding Co-ordinator and more bodies were needed to help HUST raise these monies in an enjoyable way. This would be a major discussion topic at the June meeting.
