Hereford have signed experienced midfielder James Wesolowski ahead of tomorrow's FA Trophy game against FC United of Manchester.
The 31-year old has over 140 Football League appearances to his name, playing for Leicester City, Shrewbury Town and Peterborough United among others.
After suffering a serious knee injury while at Shrewsbury, James joined Guiseley in 2016 as part of his rehabilitation and has most recently been playing for Nuneaton.
The Sydney-born player says he's a leader and hopes this will help other Bulls players.
“You know you’re going to get 100% out of me,” Wesolowski told the club's official YouTube channel.
“I’m going to go out on that pitch and give everything I’ve got. I think I’m a leader in terms of working hard, and I hope that has an effect on the other guys as well.
"I hope I can help the boys out. It’s just a case of maybe just having that savvy at certain times in games. You switch off for a second and you’re punished.”
Head of Football Tim Harris says Wesolowski is the player that Hereford need.
Harris said: “James is the sort of player that we need, he’s very good in winning second balls and asserting his authority on the game.
"He’s got an awful lot of experience to ourselves so we’re delighted to get him over the line.”
