Ryan Green says Hereford's new Head of Football Tim Harris is a calming influence which is what the club needs during this hard time.
Speaking after Saturday's goalless FA Cup Second Qualifying Round tie against Truro City, Harris comes with knowledge of the National League North which the club didn't have before.

"We had a chat with him before training on Thursday about what he expects from us. He's very good, a calming influence, which is just what the club needs at this hard time," Green said.
"I don't know that much of him to be honest, I've only met him a few times, but he seems a nice calm guy with lots of contacts in the game which is just what we need.
"The Northern league is very tough, and there's not many in the club at the minute that know much about that league so he's a great addition to the club."
Speaking about the appointment of a new Head Coach, Green admitted he doesn't know who'll be coming in but he's proud to have led Hereford on a temporary basis.
"I don't have a clue, I'd love to know! I don't get told that but I'm proud to have been Hereford's manager for at least two games now," added the club's vice-captain.
"He's (Tim Harris) said go and express ourselves, don't be scared on the ball and if you go one-nil down then keep playing. We've got a lot injured at the moment, so when we get everyone fit we'll get firing and get that back up the table."
Keiran Thomas was selected as the sponsors' man of the match today despite playing in midfield, a role which he hasn't really played in since he was a youth player.
While at Cheltenham, he was converted to a right-back by the then Head of Youth John Brough. Thomas was called 'pitbull' due to his ferocious tackling style, something which Green picked up after the game.
"Great performance, he's a little terrier. He knows what he's good at, he's good tackler with a good energy.
"For me, he's man of the match. We know now he can play full-back or midfield so it's good to know."
