Former Hereford United midfielder Sam Clucas has reportedly turned down a move to Burnley from Swansea. Despite a fee of around £8M being agreed Clucas wasn't happy with the terms offered.

Meanwhile another former Bull has agreed a move. Matty Lund, who came to Edgar Street on loan from Crewe in November 2010, has joined Scunthorpe from Burton for an undisclosed fee.

The gate of 2836 at Edgar Street for the game against Blyth last Saturday was the second highest in the National League. Only Stockport who played FC United of Manchester could better it. Some 4577 were at Edgeley Park.

Gary Bowyer has quit as manager of Blackpool. The former Hereford United player is the first manager to leave his post this season.
