Motherwell have reportedly rejected a bid for striker Ryan Bowman by Grimsby.
The former Hereford United frontman recently signed a one year extension to his deal with the Scottish cub.
The Mariners five figure offer was well under Motherwell's valuation.
Bowman played for Hereford in the 2012/13 season making 39 appearances and scoring 15 goals. He then moved to York and more recently has played for Torquay and Gateshead.
