Edgar Street Looking Good For Saturday

Despite all the dry weather Edgar Street is looking good in advance of Saturday's friendly against Newport County.

Head groundsman Ben Bowen has said that the pitch is 'looking a lot better than ten days ago'.

One of the problems has been getting enough water onto the pitch at times when the sun isn't shining.

Another is that the tanks that hold the water don't fill up very quickly.

And water is quite expensive.

Not everywhere looks as well as Edgar Street.
