Southport have started renovation work on their Merseyrail Community Stadium. The roof of the Main Stand is being replaced as well as the seating. A new press box and new dug-outs are also promised. However work on the pitch has been put back a year.
At Stockport manager Jim Gannon has confirmed that twelve players remain under contract for next season. He has also given a first contract to 18 year old defender Jordan Downing who has progressed from the youth side.
York City have signed 28 year old defender Kallum Griffiths from Spennymoor Town. He leaves after nine years in which he made 389 senior appearances.
Altrincham has revealed that fifteen of their players have agreed to stay at the club for next season.
