Mark Jones previews tonight's game at Edgar Street.
With resurrection traditionally popular at this time
of year, tonight's match versus Frome Town gives Hereford FC the
opportunity to breathe new life into a title push that has faltered
recently.
With a near full-strength squad to choose from, Peter Beadle's main headache may be how to find the starting eleven best placed to win the three points, on what will undoubtedly be a lead-heavy pitch. Although Dara O'Shea is still away on international duty, it's thought that Ryan Green and James Bowen will be available for selection, which should go some considerable way to addressing the perceived defensive frailties at the root of the last two defeats.
In midfield, it would seem that Rob Purdie may still have to bide his time on the bench, despite some decent playmaking performances in a starting role recently when returning from injury.

Up top, as ever there are options aplenty, but the elephant in the room
is a certain Mr John Mills. Whether his knee is squeaky clean again or
not, supporters will be clamouring for him to start, as it's an
inescapable fact that his absence has coincided with a run of 'just done
enough' wins and a brace of defeats. Chances have been missed in the
last few matches that he would arguably have taken, chances which could
have at least kept the team in the game. His absence has been felt as
deeply as Ryan Green's at the other end of the pitch when the
influential Welshman has been missing, and if both start there may well
be a collective sigh of relief around HR4.
As for Frome, George Miller and Marcus Mapstone will both be making their 100th starts for the club, but otherwise mid-table obscurity makes it difficult to suggest that they've got much to play for. The fact that they've drawn only five of their 36 games to date suggests that come 9:45pm locals will be returning home either one step closer to a glamour trip to Blyth Spartans next season or seriously concerned that the wheels have fallen off.
