The Republic of Ireland Under-19s, captained by Dara O'Shea, failed to reach the UEFA Under-19 European Championships after suffering a 4-0 defeat against Portugal yesterday. O'Shea will have returned from International Duty in time for Saturday's game so will be available for selection.


King's Lynn's place in the play-offs has been confirmed following last night's results. In the games, the Linnets needed to beat Basingstoke and for Tiverton to fail to beat Frome.

Weymouth manager Mark Molesley has said that the atmosphere during his side's 1-0 win over Slough Town last night made it feel like a Football League club. Molesley told the Dorset Echo that it was probably the best evening he has had with the Terras and the people of the town have been waiting a long time for a team they can be proud of.

Gosport Borough Football Club Limited are under fire from HMRC after failing to submit accounts made up to 28th April 2016. Mark Hook, who was chairman at the time, has denied any wrongdoing and told the Portsmouth News the accounts were outsourced to a company called TML. The club now has two months to submit the missing accounts before being struck off.

Shortwood United will resign from the Southern League West Division at the end of the season. The club say it's down to the loss a major sponsor and the financial commitment at Step Four. They insist the club isn't folding, but need to 'take a step back to move forward'.

Former Hereford United captain Luke Graham has helped his current club Brackley to the FA Trophy Final at Wembley. Brackley beat Wealdstone 3-0 on aggregate in Saturday’s semi-final second-leg and will meet Bromley under the arch in May.
