News Round Up

Kettering Town have issued a warning to fans in light of 'events' that took place by the players' tunnel after Saturday's game against Royston. A statement says that 'behaviour which is detrimental to the enjoyment of all fans will not be tolerated and if necessary exclusion orders will be issued.'

Despite currently topping the Southern Premier table, King's Lynn's Simon Lappin is hesitant to talk about promotion. He told the Lynn News that if players start setting targets it becomes easy to lose sight of the task in hand.

Chesham United have scooped the club of the month award for the Evo-Stik South Premier having averaged the best points-per-game through January. A new sponsorship agreement with GamblingKingz.co.uk means Chesham will receive an engraved glass memento and prize money.

After being hammered 7-1 by King's Lynn last night, Gosport Borough's boss Alex Pike has admitted he's never faced a tougher situation since being in management. He told the Portsmouth News that the footballing gods are not with his side at the moment, and blamed basic errors and individual mistakes. Gosport are currently four points adrift at the bottom of the table, with Pike picking up just one point since returning to the club in December.
