News Round Up

Cash-strapped Dagenham and Redbridge, who were defeated by Hereford in this season's FA Trophy, will benefit from a friendly against West Ham. David Moyes will take his side to the Daggers during next month's international break, with all proceeds helping the National League side get 'back on track'.

In an article in the Non-League Paper, Dunstable Town boss Tony McCool has spoken about managing a side without a playing budget. He says there's more to football than winning, and how he was 'bursting with pride' after losing 2-0 at Hereford earlier this season with a make-shift defence.

Former UITC U18s girls player Lauren Greaves has signed for Kidderminster Harriers' Ladies team. The defender has most recently been with Bartestree and had been hoping to stay on a dual-registration deal, but the side folded earlier this month due to a lack of players. Harriers say they hope the addition of Greaves will increase competition in defence.

Billericay Town's manager Glenn Tamplin has threatened to sack himself should his side be defeated in their FA Trophy quarter-final against Wealdstone today. In a tweet, Tamplin, who also owns the club, said he was embarrassed with his players following their 2-1 loss at Folkestone Invicta on Wednesday night.

Larkhall Athletic are into the Southern League Cup semi-finals after a 1-0 victory away to Frome Town. Larkhall will travel to Didcot in the Semi Final, with the winners facing Hitchin Town in a two-legged final.
