HUST is very proud to launch its first ever recruitment campaign for its
nominated directors on the board of Hereford FC.
HUST Chairman, Richard Tomkins, says ‘We are looking for three HUST
members to fulfil these important roles to assist in delivering the HUST
vision for our football club. I’d encourage any HUST member interested
in the position to read the recruitment pack and put themselves forward.
This is a voluntary role but we plan to ensure our directors are well
supported by the HUST Board and wider membership so we can all pull
together to drive our club forward’.
HUST Vice-Chair (community), Russell Cheasley, explains ‘We are
looking to fill roles that manage the administration, community and
volunteer aspects on the club board. These are really important areas
for the club to focus on in the next few years of its development’.
HUST Vice-Chair (Governance), Craig Goodall, reports ‘this is the
final crucial piece of the HUST Governance Review. From now on all HUST
board level and officer roles will be subject to open and transparent
appointment processes that involves member consultation. HUST nominated
directors will be appointed for three year terms of office and will
report regularly to the HUST Board so we can work together to ensure the
long term sustainability of the club’.
Tomkins adds ‘a recruitment pack has been uploaded to our website for
interested candidates. If anyone would like an informal conversation
I’d encourage them to contact me on richard.tomkins@hufctrust.co.uk.
The application deadline is Friday 23rd February and interviews will
take place week beginning 5 March 2018. I look forward to meeting and
appointing our directors.’
